The Client Brief
One of The UK’s first Passivhaus Office uses EPS external Wall Insulation
Beechwood Business Park achieves an 80% saving on running costs in comparison to similar buildings built to current regulations, adopting all the principles of passive construction. EPS was the preferred solution used to help achieve high performance values.
Specialised Thicknesses of EPS were supplied to lock together to stop any cold bridging between the EPS.
The Challenge
The System used was a Sto-Turbofix and StoTherm Classic which are both advanced technologies used in the External Wall industry.
This project showcases the advantages of EPS external wall insulation. It provides an outstanding example of what can be achieved using modern technology and was a privilege to be involved with the scheme.
