The Client Brief
The project was to insulate the floor area of over 1000 sq-m with S and B Warm Beam, this is high weight loading, lightweight Eps 90 material specifically designed and tested for suspended floor applications.
S and B Eps ltd in conjunction with Designers and Installers Milbank, supplied our suspended floor beams on a extension of Brighton school.
The Challenge
The interlocking panels where placed onto the pre stressed concrete beams, which have a thermal resistance greater than standard lightweight blocks. This in turn eliminates the need for any additional insulation and allows speed and ease for the installer.
Seeing firsthand the speed the Eps was installed was another success for EPS
