Continuity Statement

In response to the recent government announcement of a third national lockdown due to a new strain of COVID -19, S and B operations will continue safely.

The health and well-being of our employees, customers and suppliers is of the upmost importance above everything and we have and continue to follow all governments advice, the Prime Minister stated clearly all manufacturing and construction are to continue and any employees who can work from home must work from home.

Our main priorities remain:
To ensure the welfare of our staff, customers and suppliers

To continue to deliver and maintain our service to our customers

Through this whole pandemic S and B have followed all government guidance and have installed strict safety measures and safe working practices exceeding what is advised, a full risk assessment has been performed and covid safety policy created and installed. All measures are continuously reviewed, and any additional requirements will be monitored and installed while complying with all government guidance.

 

Our current safe working practices include but are not exhausted to:
Strict social distancing rules which are clearly marked and compulsory in all areas and departments.
Daily temperature checks of all staff and visitors,

Employees working from home where possible,
Teams and zoom meetings are held in place of regular inhouse meetings,
Track and trace of any visitors,
Additional hygiene measures of regularly and thoroughly washing hands throughout the day, with multiple hand sanitising locations provided,
Continual cleaning of all work stations, surfaces, machines, forklifts, door handles etc throughout the day are performed,
Full PPE is provided to all with face masks and visors being compulsory in corridors and communal areas,
Signage is clearly visible advising of all measures and these are monitored and enforced by senior personnel.
Segregation of departments has been installed with each department having their own canteen and toilet facilities, breaks times are split and maximum capacity of personnel in areas are imposed,

Clear guidance has been supplied to all staff of the symptoms and what procedure to follow in all isolation and contact situations,

S and B will remain open for business and are here to support our customers and fulfil all orders while ensuring the safety of our employees and customers.
